Grow your reach

More videos, no extra filming

Kutto cuts long videos into vertical clips: it finds the strongest moments, keeps the frame on whoever is speaking, adds captions, and publishes to TikTok, Reels, and Shorts on a schedule. Reach grows with the number of videos you post, and so does what sponsors will pay.

  • Dozens of clips from a single hour-long video
  • The frame follows whoever is speaking
  • Scheduled publishing to every platform

Methodology

What counts as a sign of fake engagement

A sign only triggers when the number is off by several times. Strong signs are the ones real accounts almost never show.

ER several times below the norm: strong

ER by followers is under a third of the lower norm for the account size. The followers are there, but they do not react.

Videos are not watched: strong

The median video is seen by less than 1% of the follower count, on accounts with 10K+ followers.

No comments: strong

Fewer than one comment per thousand likes. Real posts usually have 5–50.

Likes to views: strong

More than 30% of viewers like the video, or fewer than 0.4% with substantial views (purchased views).

Flat numbers: indirect

The spread of likes between posts is under 12%. Real numbers jump by several times; bulk purchases look flat.

Mass following and bots: indirect

The account follows more people than follow it; over half of the recent comments are emoji, "cool" and repeats.

How is ER calculated?

ER by followers is the average likes plus comments per post, divided by the number of followers, as a percentage. ER by views is the same reactions divided by the video’s views: it shows how much the video hooks the people who saw it, and it does not depend on the size of the account.

What is a good engagement rate on Instagram?

It depends on size: for accounts with 10–50K followers the norm is about 1.3–3.5%, and for accounts with over 10M followers it is 0.05–0.8%. ER by views on Reels is usually 2–7%.

Why is ER higher on TikTok?

The recommendation feed shows a video far beyond your followers, while reactions are counted against followers, so ER by followers on TikTok is roughly twice as high. By views, the norm is 3–9%.

Why does ER drop as an account grows?

On a small account, followers are friends and like-minded people; on a large one, they are people from recommendations who followed after a single video. That is why 1% is normal for a million-follower account and a warning sign for an account with three thousand.

Where do the norms come from?

They are condensed into ranges from public reports by HypeAuditor, Influencer Marketing Hub and Socialinsider for 2024–2025. Platforms do not publish norms, and the reports differ from each other by a factor of 1.5–2, so a norm is a range, not a single number.
