Calculate from a channel link
any channel, yours or someone else’s. Or fill in the fields manually below1How many views does your channel get?
All views your channel gets per month, from new and old videos alike. That is ≈ 9.9K per day. The exact number is in YouTube Studio → Analytics.
2What you publish
Long videos and Shorts are calculated at different rates: a Shorts view is 50–100 times cheaper.
3What your channel is about
The niche rate with US viewers is $5 – 11 per 1,000 views. The niche decides which advertisers show up: finance pays 10–20 times more than kids content.

Methodology
How the income adds up
Three multipliers, and that is it. Example: a tech channel with 100,000 long-video views a month and viewers in Kazakhstan.

100,000 video views per month

Monthly income

≈ $860–1,900 a year
Shorts are separate
Their views are paid from a shared feed pool at a rate 50–100 times lower, and the niche barely affects it.
Your own RPM is more accurate
The rates are benchmarks from creator and media network reports for 2025–2026. If your channel is already monetized, enter the RPM from YouTube Studio.
How to earn more
You can't raise the rate. You can raise your views
Kutto cuts long videos into vertical clips: it finds the strongest moments, keeps the frame on the speaker, adds captions and publishes to Shorts, TikTok and Reels. Shorts bring subscribers to your long videos, where a view pays dozens of times more.
- Dozens of clips from a single hour-long video
- The frame follows whoever is speaking
- Scheduled publishing to every platform

Questions
Common questions about YouTube income
Can't find your answer? Write to us and we will look at your channel.
Contact supportHow much does YouTube pay per 1,000 views?
Creators of long videos earn from $0.50 to $25 per thousand views (that is the RPM). Niche and viewer country create a fifty-fold spread: a finance channel with a US audience earns the most, while an entertainment channel with viewers from low-cost ad markets earns tens of cents.
How much does a channel with a million views a month earn?
It depends on who is watching. An English-language educational channel with a million long-video views earns roughly $3,500–7,800 a month; with viewers from countries where ads are cheaper, several times less. A million Shorts views brings in about $35–110.
How much does YouTube pay for Shorts?
Shorts are paid from a shared feed ad pool split by share of views: about $0.05–0.15 per thousand views with a US audience and several times less in countries where ads are cheaper. A million Shorts views usually earns less than 20–50 thousand views on a long video.
What is the difference between RPM and CPM?
CPM is what an advertiser pays per thousand ad impressions. RPM is what the creator earns per thousand video views, after YouTube's cut (45% on long videos) and counting views where no ad was shown. RPM is 2–3 times lower than CPM, and it is the number to use for estimating income.
How do I find my RPM?
YouTube Studio → Analytics → Revenue tab → RPM. Enter it in the calculator under "More precise" — it replaces the estimate based on niche and geography, and all that is left is multiplying by views.
When does YouTube start paying?
Ads switch on in the Partner Program at 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours on long videos in a year, or 1,000 subscribers and 10 million Shorts views in 90 days. A payout arrives once your AdSense balance reaches $100.
Why is the result a range and not an exact amount?
YouTube does not publish its rates. They depend on the season (ads cost more in December and less in January), video length, the number of ad breaks and how many viewers use an ad blocker. A range is an honest interval that most channels with the same inputs fall into.
