Total video views over 30 days are in Instagram: Professional dashboard → Insights.
2What the account is about
The niche decides which advertisers show up and how much they pay: finance and business pay 2–3 times more than comedy and music.
3Where your viewers are
International audience: advertising is sold in dollars per thousand views.
4Instagram payouts
Instagram has no fund open to everyone: Reels bonuses are invite-only and not available in every country. With an invitation, we count $0.02–0.1 per thousand plays.
Methodology
How the income adds up
Two parts, calculated in different ways. The rates are benchmarks from public reports, last checked in October 2026.
Instagram payouts
There is no fund open to everyone: bonuses and gifts are invite-only. Without an invitation the calculator counts them as zero; with one, $0.02–0.1 per thousand plays (creator reports on Reels bonuses, 2022–2025).
Reach, not followers
Advertisers pay for the people who will see the video, so we calculate from video views: the median of the latest Reels when you use a link, or your insights when you enter them manually.
Sponsorships
Number of sponsorships × views of the sponsored video × $8–20 per thousand views, adjusted for niche. Based on the Influencer Marketing Hub Benchmark Report, 2025.
Grow your reach
More videos, no extra filming
Kutto cuts long videos into vertical clips: it finds the strongest moments, keeps the frame on whoever is speaking, adds captions, and publishes to TikTok, Reels, and Shorts on a schedule. Reach grows with the number of videos you post, and so does what sponsors will pay.
- Dozens of clips from a single hour-long video
- The frame follows whoever is speaking
- Scheduled publishing to every platform

FAQ
Common questions about Instagram income
Can't find your answer? Message us and we'll look into your account.
Contact supportDoes Instagram pay for Reels views?
Not everyone. The Reels Play program closed in 2023, and the current bonuses and gifts are invite-only and not available in every country. With an invitation, it is about $0.02–0.1 per thousand plays. An influencer's main income is brand sponsorships.
How much does an Instagram sponsorship cost?
About $8–20 per thousand expected views of the sponsored video. The price is based on reach, not followers: a million-follower account with 20,000 views per video costs the same as a 50,000-follower account with the same reach.
How do I find the reach of my Reels?
Professional dashboard → Insights → Accounts reached and Views for the last 30 days. Or paste a profile link and we will calculate the median views of the latest videos and the posting pace.
Why are the views from a link lower than in my insights?
A link only exposes the latest posts, about twelve from Instagram. Older videos that keep collecting views are not included. If the account lives on its archive, enter the views from your insights manually.
